The Fetch Story

The idea for Fetch Pet Resort had been brewing for a while, when in 2017 Neve & Bryce purchased their dream property in New Italy. A large green clearing within a beautiful national forest with direct access to the Pacific Highway, it held endless potential to be the pet wonderland they envisioned – a place where dogs could be dogs!

So, they rolled up their sleeves and got to work. Neve and Bryce knew they wanted to create a home away from home for fur-babies big and small, somewhere they would be happy to leave their own two Golden’s, Byron & Buddy. These two fur-balls were living their best life; they ran the household, determined where and when holidays occurred and destroyed everything in their path with slobber and fur. Byron had a heart condition though, which demanded plenty of TLC and cuddles, and many sleepless nights.

Neve and Bryce understood well that the love for a pet is a unique and special thing. They are the ultimate companions, providing us with countless moments of joy, never-ending fun, and unconditional love in return. They wanted to design Fetch as a place that embraces this special bond so that when mum and dad are away, fur-babies still receive the love and care they get at home.

This meant no concrete cages, but instead, a comfy bed in an air-conditioned room that reminded them of home. It meant a great big grassy play area where compatible dogs could hang out together, become friends and tire each other out until bedtime. It meant healthy, scrumptious food and extra treats, accompanied by hundreds of kisses and cuddles.

And importantly, it meant having an inclusive pricing structure. So often, what is truly a necessity for a healthy, happy pet is charged as an ‘extra’ in boarding facilities. This results in some pets getting ‘extra’ treats, playtime, love, and attention whilst others who are on the base price watch on, unsure as to why they are not receiving the same treatment!

So, Fetch’s mission is to make sure every pet receives the same high standard of fun, stimulation, care, and attention that we would want for our own fur-babies. We have worked hard to make our pet resort a wonderland that encompasses all of this and can’t wait to meet your beautiful fur-babies to show them a great time!
